We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Mechanical Superintendent to join our dynamic engineering team. This key role will oversee all aspects of our mechanical construction projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical construction and a proven track record of successfully managing teams and projects. Responsibilities:

1. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of crew members and foremen, ensuring they are adequately trained and equipped to carry out their duties.
2. Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, and ensure adherence to OSHA safety regulations.
3. Manage and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise in a professional and diplomatic manner.
4. Identify potential problems and troubleshoot them before they escalate into major difficulties.
5. Oversee construction scheduling and cost control, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Handle all administrative duties related to the position, including the completion of required paperwork.
7. Set and manage performance goals, effectively utilizing time management strategies to ensure team productivity.
8. Maintain a high level of attention to detail, remaining calm and diplomatic under pressure.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Advanced knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
4. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to assess and develop the skills of crew members and foremen.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to manage differences and diversity in the workplace.
6. Proven ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems before they develop into major difficulties.
7. Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
8. Ability to handle the administrative duties of the position, including the completion of required paperwork.
9. Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain diplomatic and calm under pressure.
10. OSHA-30 certification, or the ability to obtain certification within six months from the date of hire.
