Job Description

Leader in the Off-Site Construction (OSC) industry, delivering modular, prefabricated mechanical and electrical systems designed to streamline on-site installation.
This role serves as a critical final quality checkpoint, ensuring modular systems leave the shop fully prepared for efficient field installation while reducing site delays, minimizing rework, and improving customer satisfaction.
This position reports directly to the Quality Manager and works closely with the fabrication, mechanical assembly, electrical, and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in mechanical contracting or industrial construction, with hands-on experience at the foreman level or above. They have a proven track record delivering projects in sectors such as healthcare, automotive, data center and mission-critical environments, along with a solid understanding of client expectations for quality, performance, and finish in these settings. This individual is proactive in identifying potential constructability and quality issues and is committed to driving timely, effective resolutions. They will champion Epsilon’s uncompromising standards for safety and quality while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across departments to help sustain the company’s industry-leading reputation.

Responsibilities
  • Verify the assembly of pumps, valves, piping, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment against engineering drawings.
  • Identify and address constructability risks before shipment, including piping interference, limited bolt access, serviceability issues, clearance conflicts, equipment orientation concerns, and installation sequencing challenges.
  • Confirm the proper installation and alignment of mechanical equipment and piping systems.
  • Collaborate with fabrication, welding, and electrical teams to resolve constructability issues during assembly.
  • Partner with engineering to resolve constructability concerns and improve future design, release, and installation performance.
  • Support inspection activities and documentation to confirm system readiness before shipment.
  • Maintain quality documentation and turnover records for completed assemblies.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring field installation issues to improve production quality and installation efficiency.
  • Participate in final shipment readiness reviews and verify that modules meet quality and constructability requirements before release.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience installing mechanical systems, equipment skids, and industrial piping assemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, piping isometrics, and equipment layouts.
  • Hands-on experience with the installation of pumps, valves, piping systems, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Experience identifying constructability or installation issues during assembly.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with shop and engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of field installation practices, constructability, and serviceability requirements for mechanical and electrical systems.
