Mechanical Quality Assurance Inspector — Weekend Shift
Join Nelson Numeric and perform final and in-process inspections on high-precision aerospace components. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40!
What You’ll Do
- Inspect and audit a variety of aerospace products for conformance with customer and regulatory requirements
- Read, interpret, and understand GD&T
- Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, height gauges, calipers, bore gauges, and related tools
- Perform receiving, in-process, first-article, and final inspections
- Communicate inspection findings and quality information clearly to the appropriate teams
- Complete work orders accurately in the company’s ERP system
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Required: Aerospace piece-part mechanical inspection experience
- Experience with precision inspection methods
- Prior bench-inspection experience using physical gauges
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to apply skilled mechanical inspection methods using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and procedure manuals
- Experience in an AS9100 aerospace environment
Weekend Shift Perks
