    The firm is looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager to join its team in either Springfield or West Linn, Oregon. You’ll lead multidisciplinary MEP projects, work directly with clients and project partners, and help guide engineers and designers through the successful delivery of technically complex building systems.

    What You’ll Do

    As a Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of both the technical and relationship sides of project delivery.

    You’ll:

    • Lead mechanical and multidisciplinary MEP design projects

    • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables

    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subconsultants, contractors, and clients

    • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary client contact throughout projects

    • Provide technical leadership on complex mechanical building systems

    • Review designs and help maintain high standards for quality and constructability

    • Mentor engineers and designers while encouraging accountability and professional growth

    • Identify project challenges early and drive practical solutions

    • Support long-term client relationships and future project opportunities

    • Collaborate across disciplines to deliver cohesive, high-quality designs

    Technical Experience We’re Looking For

    You should bring broad mechanical building systems experience, ideally including several of the following:

    • HVAC systems

    • Central utility plants

    • Boilers and chillers

    • Steam systems

    • Utility distribution

    • Healthcare facilities

    • Laboratories

    • Institutional or other technically complex buildings

    • Multidisciplinary MEP design projects

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license required

    • Previous mechanical building systems design experience

    • Project management experience within mechanical engineering or MEP consulting

    • Experience working across multiple building systems and project types

    • Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or developing team members

    • Working knowledge of Revit as it relates to mechanical design

    • West Linn, Oregon

    This is a locally based hybrid position. Employees are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance and participate consistently in the office, with flexibility to work from home as project and team needs allow.
