Mechanical Project Manager

Mechanical / Pipefitting Project ManagerThe Mechanical / Pipefitting Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical and pipefitting projects in commercial and industrial settings. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical piping systems and large-scale construction projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, safely, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage mechanical and pipefitting projects in commercial and industrial environmentsDevelop and oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, and manpower needsEnsure project execution aligns with contract requirements, company objectives, and client expectationsCoordinate with clients, general contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractorsOversee mechanical piping scopes, including installation, scheduling, procurement, and field coordinationSupervise and support project team members while maintaining accountability and strong communicationConduct regular site visits to monitor progress, productivity, quality, and compliance with safety requirementsPrepare and review project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, schedules, and progress reportsTrack project costs, labor performance, material needs, and overall financial performanceIdentify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues quickly and effectivelyEnsure compliance with applicable industry standards, codes, specifications, and regulationsWork closely with field leadership to coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedulesFacilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders from project startup through closeoutQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferredExtensive experience in mechanical project management, specifically involving commercial and industrial pipefitting and mechanical piping systemsProven track record of successfully managing large‑scale mechanical projects from inception through completionStrong knowledge of mechanical piping systems, installation practices, construction sequencing, and industry standardsExperience managing project budgets, schedules, change orders, procurement, and cost controlsExcellent leadership, organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skillsProficiency in project management and construction software, such as MS Project, Procore, or similar platformsAbility to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and meet project deadlinesStrong understanding of jobsite safety requirements and construction best practicesPE license or PMP certification is a plus, but not required#J-18808-Ljbffr
