Mechanical Project Manager

Minneapolis, MN | Full Time, Permanent | $100,000 to $135,000

About the Company

gpac partners with well established commercial mechanical contractors in the Minneapolis and St. Paul market performing HVAC, plumbing and piping work on commercial and industrial projects.

About the Role

The Project Manager leads mechanical projects from start to finish and is responsible for safety, quality, budget, schedule and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout

• Own project budgets, cost control and monthly forecasting

• Build and maintain project schedules

• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders and pay applications

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and field leadership

• Maintain strong relationships with general contractors and owners

Required

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial mechanical construction

• Experience managing HVAC, plumbing or piping projects

• Strong scheduling, job costing and change order skills

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• OSHA 30

• Experience with project management software

Compensation and Benefits

• $100,000 to $135,000, based on experience
