The mechanical and electrical share of a Boston building keeps growing. Labs, hospitals, data-heavy space. The MEP Project Manager is no longer a specialist off to the side; on most of this work you are carrying the riskiest scope on the job, and the market has started paying like it.

Belmont Search recruits trade Project Managers across Greater Boston, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection, for specialty contractors and for GCs who self-manage their MEP risk.

The role at the firms we represent:

• Full ownership: budget, labor planning, change orders, requisitions.
• Long-lead equipment and fabrication schedules, in a market where the lead times are the schedule.
• Coordination from BIM through installation, clashes solved before they get built.
• Foremen who win the job in the field; your job is to let them.

You have run mechanical, electrical, plumbing or fire protection scopes, and you know why the duct riser matters before the drywall does. A GC's coordination meeting does not rattle you.

Salary is $110,000 - $160,000 depending on trade and experience, plus vehicle and bonus. Trade PMs are the tightest market in Boston construction, and this is the desk where counteroffers land same-day.
