Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Salary: $70,000-$80,000 based on experience | On-Site

Job Duties & Responsibilities

-Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and vacuum systems to maximize uptime.
-Troubleshoot mechanical equipment, identify root causes, and repair or replace components including pumps, bearings, belts, gears, seals, and other worn parts.
-Disassemble and reassemble machinery, perform equipment alignments, and work with pneumatic and basic electrical systems as needed.
-Respond to maintenance work orders, maintain accurate service records, and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.



Required Skills & Experience

-Must have a strong mechanical maintenance background with hands-on experience repairing pumps and various industrial machinery.
-High school diploma or equivalent with proven experience as a manufacturing mechanic, maintenance technician, or similar role.
-Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
-Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills & Experience

-Knowledge of vacuum systems, pneumatic systems, plumbing, HVAC, and basic electrical systems.
-Experience performing preventative maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
