Requirements and Skills High School Diploma or GED, vocational or college education preferred; Two years’ experience in a maintenance environment; electrical, machine or multi-craft maintenance technical certificate may be considered for substitute of experience; Good interpersonal and communication skills; Attention to detail in the maintenance area; Ability to complete tasks under limited supervision; Strong written communication skills with an emphasis on technical documents and records; Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.

    Mechanical Maintenance Technician
    Department: Maintenance
    Location: Spring Hill, TN
     
    The Mechanical Maintenance Technician performs a variety of preventive maintenance and machine repair duties according to manufacturer equipment service manuals, factory guidelines, and management’s instructions; in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in the maintenance department and within GMP and ‘food grade work’ guidelines.
     
    Main Duties & Responsibilities

    Requirements and Skills

    • Ability to stand for extended hours;
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.;
    • Ability to wear any required PPE;
    • Other physical requirements include bi-lateral hand and wrist movement and occasional squatting, bending, and twisting;
    • Ability to work around a variation of different smells and aromas;
    • Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require.
