Description Weyerhaeuser Company has an opening for a skilled Maintenance Multi-Craft Technician at our Arcadia Oriented Strand Board Mill (OSB) located in Simsboro, Louisiana. Seeking qualified candidates with a comprehensive knowledge of electrical & mechanical equipment, processes, and techniques to safely repair, modify, install, and maintain the facility and high-tech OSB manufacturing equipment. Weyerhaeuser Arcadia OSB is located in Lincoln parish. We are approximately 20 minutes west of Ruston and 30 minutes east of Minden. The wage for this role is $35.68 per hour. Key Functions: The Multi-craft Maintenance technician will provide maintenance support to operations and lead preventative maintenance work. Demonstrates willingness and ability to act promptly to meet mill needs in an environment where safety is always the lead consideration before performing any task. Able to fully cross train in all areas of maintenance which includes but is not limited to, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic for both troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Willing to attend training both onsite and offsite, as required. Utilize computerized maintenance systems and have the ability to demonstrate systemic troubleshooting decision making.
