Main duties of the Mechanical Engineer include:
- Lead entire new product development projects, from concept all the way thru to full system installation.
- Work closely with a team of Engineers, Project Managers and Architects on developing new HVAC systems for key customers throughout the Midwest
- Use AutoCAD and Revit to design a variety of HVAC systems, plumbing systems and ventilation systems
- Perform load calculations and heat analysis
- Work on preparing new bids for customers
Qualifications include:
- BS degree (minimum) in Mechanical, Structural or Civil Engineering
- PE license strongly preferred but not required. Candidate must be willing to, and readily available to, obtain the PE license.
- At least 5 years of experience designing HVAC systems
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is required
