WE’RE HIRING – MECHANICAL HELPER

Basis North America is seeking a Mechanical Helper for a short-term project supporting an LM2500 engine swap at the Valero Wilmington Refinery in Wilmington, California.


Project Dates: October 12–19, 2026
Location: Wilmington, CA 90744


Compensation:

• Regular Rate: $35/hour 
• Overtime Rate: $52.50/hour 
• Per Diem: $60/day 
• Hotel, flight, and rental car covered according to project conditions 

Requirements:

•  Previous experience supporting mechanical work in industrial, refinery, power generation, or rotating equipment environments 
•  Ability to assist Mechanical Fitters with installation, removal, assembly, and general mechanical activities 
•  Ability to follow site safety procedures and supervisor instructions 
•  Valid TWIC card
•  Must meet applicable project background/DISA requirements
• Candidates must bring their own required hand tools to the job site
