Mechanical Field Engineer

Job Summary:

• Perform field equipment walkdowns and verify P&IDs vs. actual/as-is field conditions.
• Identify field changes and update/mark up P&IDs and engineering documents.
• Capture equipment photos, nameplate data, tags, connections, and technical information.
• Submit daily field walkdown reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct plant/facility field walkdowns.
• Verify equipment and piping against P&IDs and engineering documents.
• Perform P&ID and engineering document markups.
• Capture equipment photos using handheld devices/inspection applications.
• Record equipment identification, nameplate information, and other required data.
• Drive a 4x4 vehicle, including off-road driving, to reach facilities.
• Travel/stay overnight outside Midland when required.
• Follow all safety procedures and daily instructions.
• Submit expenses through the company system.
• Maintain professional conduct and accurate documentation.
• Ability to lift equipment/materials up to 30 lbs.
