    Mechanical Estimator
    A rapidly expanding engineering and industrial construction firm in Peachtree City is seeking a dynamic and motivated professional to join our team as a Mechanical Estimator. Candidates must have experience in industrial process piping, whether in the field, management, or estimating, with a combination of these being highly preferred. In this role, the Estimator will collaborate closely with both the design and estimating teams.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Prepare complete scope estimates based on proposal documentation for a variety of design-build projects
    • Review, interpret, and analyze project documentation including drawings, specifications, data, commercial terms, proposals, etc.
    • Develop conceptual estimates from preliminary project parameters
    • Manage the development of the preliminary workflow, logistics plan, and schedule
    • Prepare detailed estimated costs for all self-perform work activities, including craft hours, labor, materials, and equipment
    • Formulate all project indirect costs, including staffing, project schedules, on-site facilities, and support costs with schedule development
    • Coordinate with stakeholders (developers, architects, subcontractors, and Forza operations) throughout the design-build process.
    • Solicit input from field operations to include in the final project estimate
    • Prepare written proposals for review with the Project Manager prior to submission

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Proven experience in industrial process piping, whether in the field, management, or estimating, with a combination of these being highly preferred
    • Ability to make and influence decisions under tight deadlines, sometimes with incomplete information
    • Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to forge partnerships with subcontractors
    • Ability to recognize and analyze risk
    • Skilled in reading and analyzing geotechnical reports, technical information, and market/trade trends

    Software Proficiency:

    • Microsoft Office, with a high level of proficiency using Excel
    • ProEst or similar estimating software
    • Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar takeoff software
    • Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software
    • Building Connected preferred, but not required

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
    • Industrial process piping experience required in the field, management, or estimating
