Description

Pay Range: $42hr - $45hr

Job Overview:

The R&D Engineer III will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, sales, vendors, and product management teams. Responsibilities include part design, 3D CAD modeling, component and material selection, qualification of new materials and components, assembly design, and engineering documentation. This role will support execution against the product roadmap established by product management to help drive growth and expansion of product lines through new product innovation, value engineering, sustaining engineering, and product improvement. Some lab work may be required. Willingness to wear PPE and perform hands-on work. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, plus 5-10 years of experience in a mechanical engineering and research and development capacity. Background in water or electrochemistry is very helpful. This is a one-year temporary assignment based out of the Tewksbury, MA office and lab. Strong collaborative communication skills.

In-office team of about 10 to 20 people. Open office environment with cubicles.
