    Location: Tucson, AZ
    Duration: Direct Hire Full Time Role

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environments
    • Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements
    • Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum two (2) years of work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
    • Two (2) years of technical / engineering experience in mechanical design and/or production support
    • Two (2) years experience with CAD solid modeling tools and analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO Parametric
    • Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance analysis
    • Experience creating mechanical drawing packages
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Design experience with mechanical and electronic packaging
    • Experience with creating complex design drawing packages
    • Experience with Configuration Management processes, application, and tools (e.g., Windchill / cPDM)
    • Experience in Model Based Engineering or Model Based Design
    • Experience in mechanical sub-systems packaging, materials, thermal analysis, structural analysis, control systems, electrical hardware design, or large assembly development
    • Experience with environmental stress screening of hardware (e.g., vibration, shock, thermal, etc.)
    • Systems engineering experience

    U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements:
    • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
    • Security Clearance Type: DoD Clearance: Secret
    • Security Clearance Status: Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
