Location: Souderton, PA

Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead and execute mechanical design projects from initial concept through production. This individual will be responsible for developing high-quality mechanical designs, creating detailed engineering drawings, and supporting the fabrication and assembly of complex equipment.
Job Duties:
- Lead and execute mechanical design projects from concept through production.
- Develop mechanical designs for custom and purchased components, including motors, gearboxes, bearings, and structural elements.
- Create detailed SolidWorks models, assembly drawings, weldments, installation drawings, and engineering modifications.
- Support system-level engineering, including approval drawings and equipment interface coordination.
- Prepare and release engineering documentation through ERP systems to support manufacturing.
- Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
- Ensure designs meet project specifications, quality standards, budgets, and deadlines.
- Provide technical support to customers through phone, email, and virtual communication.
- Visit customer sites as needed to gather requirements and support project execution.
- Contribute to engineering improvements, design innovation, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in automation, manufacturing, or custom equipment environments.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and 2D CAD.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, components, and equipment design.
- Experience managing multiple engineering projects with tight timelines and budgets.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
