Job Description
Position Summary
Miller Newell is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (3–7 years of experience) to support HVAC and plumbing design as we expand our presence in Northwest Arkansas. This role offers hands-on project involvement and direct collaboration with senior leadership in a growing regional office.
This is an opportunity for an engineer who wants meaningful responsibility, client exposure, and the ability to grow alongside a developing market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects
Perform load calculations and equipment sizing
Prepare construction documents and specifications
Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, and contractors
Participate in site visits and construction administration
Contribute to project meetings and client interactions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
3-7 years of relevant MEP design experience
PE preferred, EI’s on path to licensure considered.
Plumbing design experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in Revit. AutoCAD experience valued
Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards
