Mechanical EngineerDesign, develop, and document RF, surge protection, and EMI/EMC products. Participate in technical design reviews and product development activities. Develop product requirements, specifications, and project schedules. Support product testing, validation, and prototype development. Perform engineering calculations and feasibility studies for new products. Create and maintain technical drawings, models, BOMs, and specifications using SolidWorks. Collaborate with engineering, production, testing, vendors, and contractors. Evaluate designs and recommend improvements to product performance and manufacturability. Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and maintain engineering documentation. Manage projects through the full product lifecycle, including schedules, resources, and deliverables. Present project updates, design reviews, and technical recommendations to stakeholders. Mentor junior engineers and interns as needed. Communicate technical requirements and project status to both technical and non-technical teams. Support customer requirements and provide technical input for new product initiatives.A successful Mechanical Engineer should have: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 2-3+ years of mechanical design engineering experience. Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks. Experience creating technical drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation. Strong understanding of product development and design validation processes. Experience managing engineering projects and multiple priorities. Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with military standards and specifications preferred. Familiarity with AS9100, ISO quality systems, and Lean Manufacturing principles preferred. Ability to work independently from limited documentation and design requirements.
