Description

Summary:

  • Location: Oshkosh, WI
  • Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks under supervision according to industry standards and processes.
  • Support senior engineers in preparing plans, designs, computation methods, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with other engineering or business support disciplines internally and suppliers externally.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources on technical issues.
  • Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability.
  • Prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material.
  • Conduct engineering analysis to support the selection of parts, components, and materials.
  • Provide technical assistance for production support.
  • Analyze and resolve issues reported to Engineering.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations.
  • Utilize analytical and mathematical approaches to optimize designs.
  • Regular attendance is required.

Requirements:

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with internship experience or six months of related work experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and related systems.
  • Experience with a high-level CAD system.
  • CATIA or similar experience.
  • Controls/robotics experience.
  • Systems engineering experience.
  • FEA analysis review/interpretation.
  • Systems routing experience.
  • DFMEA knowledge.
  • Experience in autonomy, heavy truck, or electric vehicles.
