Mechanical Engineer
Location: Newark, DE
Status Direct Hire
Experience: 5+ years or more in a consulting engineering environment

Summary
We are looking for a candidate with experience in a consulting engineering environment, working on commercial, R&D, and manufacturing facilities, whether for new construction or renovations. While experience in these industries is highly preferred, it is not an absolute requirement.
Candidates must possess strong analytical and communication skills and be able to perform well in a design environment. We offer a team approach and the opportunity to work on a variety of project types and sizes.
 
Responsibilities:

• Develop project basic data
• Work with clients to define and confirm project scopes of work
• Perform field surveys and engineering calculations
• Analyze and apply applicable codes
• Develop conceptual design and detailed design documents
• Develop construction drawings and specifications and provide construction support services
• Project management
• Leadership
• Coordinate design resources and activities

 
Required Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience
2. Experience in a consulting engineering environment.
3. Experience producing drawings and specifications for building renovation and new construction projects
4. Proficiency in Revit drawing tool.
5. Hybrid or remote ok proximity to our Newark, DE office a plus.
