Duties:
- Design precision machined components used in power transmission/automation products
- Create 3D models of machined parts using Solidworks
- Prepare statics and strength of materials calculations
- Review engineering drawings needed for manufacturing prototypes
- Provide on-site technical support to manufacturing and machining teams
- Conduct product prototype tests – including creating test plans and setups
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (Mechanical Engineering a big plus)
- 2-4 years of professional experience, preferably in new product designs/development
- Experience designing machined components
- 3D modeling experience (Solidworks a plus)
- Statics & Strength of Materials experience
- Experience working with an ERP system
- Ability to pass a background check
Salary: $85-95K
