This is an opportunity to join a growing organization where your designs don’t just stay on paper and you will see them built, tested, and running in production.

You will work on custom automated equipment and robotic systems, taking projects from concept through installation. If you enjoy hands on engineering, complex problem solving, and owning your work from start to finish, this role will be a strong fit.

    What makes this role appealing

    • Work on advanced industrial automation and robotics
    • Own projects from initial concept through installation and prove out
    • See your designs move from CAD to the shop floor to the customer site
    • Collaborate daily with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers
    • Build deep experience with robotic cells, safety, and modern manufacturing

    What you will do

    • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define requirements and develop system concepts
    • Review customer parts, 3D models, and drawings to understand complexity, tolerances, and variability
    • Assist with project management: timelines, budgets, and coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
    • Design complex automated machinery incorporating pneumatic and electromechanical components
    • Design and integrate robots, end of arm tooling (EOAT), feeding systems, and material handling cells
    • Lead internal and customer design reviews and refine designs based on feedback
    • Perform risk assessments and contribute to machine and robotic cell safety
    • Produce both high level concepts and detailed part and assembly drawings for manufacturing
    • Partner with Electrical and Controls Engineering to ensure smooth system integration
    • Lead testing, debugging, and prove out during the build phase
    • Oversee the build on the shop floor, guiding assemblers and technicians
    • Support equipment installation and troubleshooting at customer sites as needed
    • Create technical documentation, including test plans and operating manuals
