We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and continuous improvement of specialized manufacturing equipment and systems. Description
- Design and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and components for manufacturing applications.
- Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, bills of materials, and engineering documentation.
- Support new product development and equipment improvement initiatives.
- Lead mechanical design projects from concept through fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment and process issues.
- Evaluate and recommend design improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and performance.
- Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process optimization efforts.
- Work with suppliers and vendors on component selection, procurement, and technical requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and company specifications.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar design platforms.
- Experience creating engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, machine design, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing engineering projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
