Job Description

Design and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and components for manufacturing applications.
Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, bills of materials, and engineering documentation.
Support new product development and equipment improvement initiatives.
Lead mechanical design projects from concept through fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve technical challenges.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment and process issues.
Evaluate and recommend design improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and performance.
Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process optimization efforts.
Work with suppliers and vendors on component selection, procurement, and technical requirements.
Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and company specifications.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar design platforms.
Experience creating engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, machine design, and manufacturing processes.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing engineering projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
