Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team! As a Mechanical Engineer on our team, you will be working extensively with other engineers and the product development team to design, research, and evaluate existing and new products, including handling production concerns and specifications, fabrication, and the operation of the product. You will also assist in investigating product errors or failures, work with other departments to implement changes, and provide technical assistance as needed. The ideal candidate has experience with mechanical design, strong 3D software experience, and works well within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, computer-generated reports, and technical schematics to determine specifications
- Utilize AutoCAD or other 3D software to create mockups and examples
- Consult on every aspect of product creation, from design to development, manufacturing, and testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
- Experience with AutoCAD or other 3D software desired
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills

Founded by Edward A. Storch in 1952 as an industrial sales representative organization for leak detection fluids and home heating furnaces, “Storch” was always on the look out for additional products and added Bux Magnetic base drills. Customers requesting only the magnetic bases led “Storch” to look for additional sources of Magnets and Magnetic Components, becoming the authorized small quantity stock supplier for an American manufacturer of Alnico and then Ceramic magnets. Satisfying customer demands, Storch began engineering magnetic assemblies for diverse applications, becoming the original designer and manufacturer of insulated multi-pole magnetic assemblies with magnetic fixtures, clamps, & tooling for industrial and production applications.
