Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer II
Job Description
This Mechanical Design Engineer II role focuses on enhancing and developing consumer products from concept through production. You will lead mechanical design, product development, prototyping, testing, DFMEA activities, and manufacturing support while driving continuous product improvement and cost reduction. The position requires close collaboration with sourcing, manufacturing, quality, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to improve product performance, support new product launches, and ensure reliable, high-quality products.

Work Environment
This role is based in an on-site engineering environment located in Lancaster, PA, with a hybrid work model. Engineers divide their time between office-based design work, prototype development, testing activities, and manufacturing support on the production floor. The position involves regular cross-functional collaboration with sourcing, quality, manufacturing, and product development teams in a collaborative product development culture. Approximately 5-10% travel is expected for supplier visits, project meetings, and production assessments. After onboarding, a hybrid schedule is available, with Tuesday and Wednesday designated as required on-site collaboration days and remote work flexibility on the remaining weekdays based on business needs.
