Our engineers develop their skills through working on diverse projects our knowledge-sharing culture career mentoring program and collaborating with top professionals in the industry.What Youll GainReal-world engineering experience supporting mining and infrastructure projects.Mentorship and guidance from experienced engineers and technical specialists.Experience using industry-standard engineering software and practices.Opportunities to support projects across North America and internationally.DisciplinesWhat Youll DoUnder the guidance of experienced engineers you may support a variety of mechanical engineering projects related to mining water resources and hydropower infrastructure includingAssist in applying mechanical engineering principles to develop safe economical and innovative design solutions.Assist with technical analyses calculations and modeling including Newtonian and non-Newtonian pumppipe systems rheology evaluations Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD and 3D layout modeling.Assist in the development of engineering drawings including plans and specifications based on calculations.Prepare technical reports project documentation and engineering deliverables.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project planning design and execution.Heres what we are looking for...Currently pursuing a Bachelors Masters or PhDin Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Students entering their junior year senior year or graduate studies are encouraged to apply.Strong interest in developing engineering and technical skills in a consulting environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Qualifications Ability to pay close attention to detail and deliver quality work.Ability to use sound judgment and solve problems effectively.Ability to manage time and workload effectively including planning organizing and prioritizing tasks.Ability to travel to project and field locations as needed.Interest in learningapplying mechanical engineering fundamentals.Computer Skills Proficiency in MS Office experience with Civil 3D preferred.Compensation In accordance with Colorado state law the hourly pay range for this position is 25.00 - 30.00 an hour. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based on experience education and skill level.
