    I. SUMMARY OF POSITION:Directly responsible for the specification and design of all project's mechanical equipment for both stationary, rotating, and piping design.II. RESPONSIBILITIES:Develops metallurgy for piping and mechanical equipmentDevelops mechanical data sheets prepared in conjunction with Mechanical Engineers and the Process Engineering groupDevelops piping stress analysis utilizing Caesar software Works in conjunction with the piping group and suggests modifications to piping routing to reduce piping stress to acceptable levelsDevelops "Request for Quote" documentation Develops bid tabs and makes recommendations to the client for the purchase of mechanical equipmentDevelops mechanical engineering standards for use on capital projectsPerforms calculations for vessel design re-rating, nozzle loading, pump sizing, including motor horsepower and NPSH Writes "scope of work" documents for mechanical/piping design plans III.
