Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems for various machinery applications.
- Conduct system evaluation and testing to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design solutions.
- Work closely with engineering, production, purchasing, sales, and management.
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
- Prepare technical documentation and specifications for project deliverables.
- Implement safety standards and best practices in all engineering processes.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and maintenance teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in electrical controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, technical training or equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in machinery design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Microsoft Office proficiency where applicable.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
