Mechanical Engineer

Prepare Qualification test plans, similarity reports, acceptance test procedures, qualification test reports & other engineering documentations to support the qualification & certification of products per the applicable FAA and RTCA DO160 guidelines. Devise and implement proof of concept prototype test plans, conduct tests; data collection and test report generation to support the designs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have Minimum of 4 + years’ experience in product design, development and testing of products for  Aerospace 
• Prefer design & development of  interior aircraft components & systems  with materials like: sheet-metal, machined and plastic parts & assemblies. 
• SolidWorks experience is required.
• Knowledge of product data management and FE analysis.
• Complete proficiency with Engineering Change Management 
• Experience developing qualification & test reports

Responsibilities:

• Design & Development of components, assemblies, and subsystems for new product development per company and customer specifications.
• Perform detail design using SolidWorks to generate 3D CAD models, detail drawings &  generate analysis reports per the company, customer specifications and applicable design standards.
• Prepare Qualification test plans, similarity reports, acceptance test procedures, qualification test reports & other engineering documentations to support the qualification & certification of  products per the applicable FAA and RTCA DO160 guidelines.
• Develop and improve the design processes; create best practices & implementation across the projects.
• Review design, and manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable industry and company standards.
• Process ECO/ECN and implement design changes on assigned products, generating drawings and documents and release them in EPDM system.
• Devise and implement proof of concept prototype test plans, conduct tests; data collection and test report generation to support the designs.
