Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join a growing Research & Development team in Broken Arrow. This position works closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales, purchasing, and certification partners to design, document, and support mechanical systems for manufacturing and product certification.

The ideal candidate has experience with mechanical design, CAD drafting, and pressure vessel design software and enjoys collaborating across departments to bring new products from concept through production.
Required Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline preferred
Experience with mechanical design and product development
Proficiency with CAD software for creating engineering drawings and models
Experience with pressure vessel design software is preferred
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop mechanical designs and detailed engineering drawings for new and existing products
Create component specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements
Convert sketches, concepts, and layouts into detailed manufacturing drawings
Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, technical reports, and certification packages
Conduct mechanical inspections using precision measuring tools and visual inspection methods
Support manufacturing by resolving engineering questions and design issues
Participate in customer and vendor meetings regarding product designs and technical specifications
Collaborate with Professional Engineer (PE) firms and certification agencies to support product approvals
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and sales teams throughout the product development process
Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering change activities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing pressure vessels, industrial equipment, or fabricated products
Knowledge of ASME codes and engineering standards
Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments
Familiarity with engineering documentation, certifications, and product compliance requirements
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods throughout the workday
Occasional walking through manufacturing areas to support production and inspections
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
Ability to safely work in both office and manufacturing environments while wearing required PPE when necessary
