Rockstar is recruiting for a venture-backed Warfighter technology company that was forged from battlefield frustration. They build systems to give U.S. and allied Warfighters an unfair & decisive edge. Their flagship product, LADRS (Laser Aiming & Drone Remote System), addresses one of the most dangerous problems on the modern battlefield: cognitive overload. This is a ground-floor role for someone ready to grow with the company.
The client is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to own the design, prototyping, and manufacturing handoff of mechanical components and assemblies for its drone and control systems, working hands-on across CAD, 3D-printed prototyping, and other production processes for large volumes. The role sits at the intersection of design and fabrication — this is not a pure-CAD position — requiring the engineer to build and iterate on physical prototypes in-house, generate manufacturing-ready drawings and BOMs, identify and manage vendors, and work closely with EE team members, technicians, and systems engineers to integrate mechanical designs into larger products.
The company was forged from battlefield frustration: the technology built for the modern Warfighter kept creating the very problems it promised to solve. That's why they built LADRS (Laser Aiming & Drone Remote System), their answer to one of the most dangerous problems on the modern battlefield: cognitive overload. The company is a venture-backed Warfighter technology company, and LADRS is just the start. Everything they build is aimed at giving U.S. and allied Warfighters an unfair & decisive edge. This is a ground-floor role for someone ready to grow with the company.
