Education: Technical Certificate, or AS degree, or military technical training experience, or equivalent vocational training in a technical discipline or BSEE, BSEET or similar degree in an engineering discipline is strongly preferred. Job Description: We are hiring a hands-on Mechanical / Electromechanical Assembly Technician to support the assembly, installation, troubleshooting, and cable routing of large, complex equipment systems.

Duration: 18 months contract

Job Description:

• We are hiring a hands-on Mechanical / Electromechanical Assembly Technician to support the assembly, installation, troubleshooting, and cable routing of large, complex equipment systems.
• This is a highly practical, shop-floor role suited for technicians who enjoy working with tools, mechanical assemblies, and large equipment.
• Candidates from semiconductors, capital equipment, automotive, industrial equipment, machinery, or similar hands-on environments are encouraged to apply.

 Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly of large equipment systems
• Install and align mechanical sub-assemblies using appropriate tools and tooling
• Route, secure, and manage cables within equipment systems
• Perform mechanical and electromechanical troubleshooting
• Follow assembly procedures, drawings, work instructions, and safety requirements
• Support equipment installation and integration activities
• Work collaboratively with other technicians on large system builds
• Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment

Experience:

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience working with LARGE, COMPLEX EQUIPMENT SYSTEMS, machinery, or large mechanical assemblies — this is the key requirement.
• Hands-on mechanical or electromechanical assembly, including installation and integration of large systems and sub-assemblies.
• Experience with electromechanical troubleshooting and basic mechanical problem-solving.
• Experience with cable routing, cable management, or equipment cabling.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical tooling and working safely with large/heavy equipment components.
• No PCB assembly or board-level electronics experience; candidates should have hands-on equipment/mechanical experience rather than PCB-focused backgrounds.
• Background in semiconductor/capital equipment, automotive/mechanical technician or mechanic, industrial machinery, manufacturing, or equipment installation.

 Skills:

• Experience building, installing, or integrating large-scale industrial or technical equipment.
• Experience working in a physically demanding, hands-on environment with large equipment and mechanical components.

 Education:
