Title: Mechanical Drafter / Designer
Location: Bloomfield, Connecticut

Job Description: The primary responsibility of the Designer/Drafter is to create and modify drawings, models, parts, and assemblies using Creo software. This role supports Service Engineering's Design Services group and requires a high level of technical proficiency and attention to detail.
Responsible for all aspects of design and drafting for components, assemblies, and packaging solutions within the Creo environment. In addition, the individual will utilize the Windchill Data Management System to manage, track, promote, and report on the progress of assignments to departmental leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and revise detailed drawings, models, and assemblies using Creo
• Support design activities for components, assemblies, and packaging solutions
• Utilize Windchill to manage document control and workflow processes
• Track, update, and communicate project status to management
• Ensure all work complies with company standards and policies

Skills:

• Strong creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient in interpreting and producing technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and their applications
• Understanding of engineering principles and their practical application
• 7-10 years of relevant experience required
• Demonstrated career progression from Drafter to Designer
