Development phases of this nature typically continue through project completion, often spanning two to four years, although scope and duration are determined by business and customer needs.JOB SUMMARYThe Mechanical Designer III supports the design, documentation, release, and integration of mechanical systems for ASI's autonomous container-handling platforms. This role creates and maintains 3D CAD models, mechanical drawings, assemblies, weldments, brackets, mounts, guards, covers, installation details, bills of materials, and related design documentation needed to build, test, and support autonomous reach stacker and yard truck systems.As a Level III designer within ASI's five-level structure, this position independently owns moderately complex mechanical design and documentation assignments while receiving guidance on broader system architecture and high-level engineering decisions. The role works closely with mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, systems engineers, technicians, manufacturing, test, and field teams to support vehicle integration, sensor mounting,
