Description
A manufacturer of Power & Process Equipment located in Trevose, PA is searching for a Mechanical Designer with 7+ years of experience in designing Mechanical equipment. Must be proficient in AutoCAD Mechanical. Knowledge of pressure vessels, piping, welding, and NDE is required. Competent Computer skills with all Microsoft Office products are required. Responsibilities
- Apply customer requirements and applicable codes to design products.
- Interface with the clients for drawing submittals, status updates and resolving any issues.
- Interact with Production and Vendors to resolve manufacturing issues and improve products.
- Design products from machined parts, fabrications and castings in various materials.
- Create Bill of Material details in Sage 100 ERP system
- Must handle multiple tasks/projects and maintain design schedule to meet customer required deliveries.
- Strong communication skills.
- Majority of work is 2D CAD, 3D is helpful but not mandatory.
