Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop tools, jigs, and fixtures that support electronics disassembly and recycling operations. The role involves mechanical design, prototyping, testing, validation, and deployment of manufacturing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD design experience and a hands-on engineering mindset. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive innovative and practical engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical tools, fixtures, and jigs using 3D CAD software while maintaining engineering documentation and BOMs.
• Create and refine design concepts through prototyping, testing, and feedback from operational teams.
• Perform hands-on validation, implementation, and troubleshooting of tools in laboratory and production environments.
• Support design changes, process improvements, training activities, and deployment across multiple operational sites.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, tooling, fixture design, or manufacturing engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
