Universal Die & StampingsMechanical Design EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our manufacturing team in the production of high precision tooling and dies for progressive dies manufacturing metal stampings. In this role, your primary duty is to develop and design tools, dies and fixtures for custom precision metal stampings. Primarily progressive tooling in high-speed presses. This position is full-time, 40 hours a week with occasional overtime.DUTIES3-5 years+ experienceDevelop and design dies and tooling based on customer requirements. This may include programming as needed and strong knowledge of in-die sensors and other needed equipment.Solid understanding of AutoCAD and other related software'sAssist product/tooling quoting as neededTroubleshooting of dies, tooling and press situationsPurchase needed supplies, components, etc., for dies and tooling.
