About the Role
Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with automotive experience to support the design and development of vehicle components and mechanical systems from concept through production.
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and DFM/DFA principles.
- Support design reviews, prototyping, testing, and production launch.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Suppliers, and Engineering teams.
- Support BOM, ECN/ECR, and design change activities.
- Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience in the automotive industry.
- Experience with CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar CAD tools.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience working with automotive components and suppliers.
