About the Role

This position involves engineering and mechanical design for systems tackling air pollution and water treatment issues. It exists to develop efficient and effective solutions and contributes significantly to the client's team by addressing these critical environmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engineer and design air pollution control and water treatment systems, including tanks, clarifiers, and conveyors.
  • Perform calculations related to hydraulic, flow, and process requirements.
  • Create schematics, drawings, and component selections.
  • Communicate with vendors and prepare purchase requisitions.
  • Review customer specifications and documentation.
  • Coordinate with colleagues for process design and project completion.
  • Compile and edit Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Maintain vendor communication for quotes and component selection.
  • Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in mechanical design and detailing, preferably in industrial capital equipment.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Solidworks, AutoCAD, and other design software.
  • Familiarity with the design of tanks, piping systems, and structural steel.
  • Ability to read engineered drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of air and water treatment technologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
