Mechanical Design Engineer

We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to support fabricated equipment, piping systems, and fluid handling applications in a manufacturing environment.

Middletown, OH | Fully Onsite

️ Infrequent domestic travel

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology

• 3+ years of mechanical design experience preferred

• Strong SolidWorks 3D modeling & AutoCAD 2D drafting

• Experience with piping, PVF, valves, strainers, fittings, pressure vessels, or fluid handling equipment

• Experience creating engineering drawings, assemblies, layouts, P&IDs & BOMs

• Knowledge of carbon steel, stainless steel & alloy materials

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and BOM/item master management

• Ability to perform/verify engineering design calculations

• Understanding of ASME/API/ASTM/PIP standards preferred

• Manufacturing, fabrication, welding or machining experience is a plus

• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills

• U.S. Citizenship required due to export control requirements

The ideal candidate can take ownership of mechanical design projects, interpret customer specifications, develop practical designs, support manufacturing and quotations, and collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Quality, Vendors, Customers, and Manufacturing.
