    Role: Mechanical Design Engineer
    Client: Leading Multidisciplinary Design & Engineering Consultancy
    Essentials: 4+ years’ post-qualification experience in Mechanical Building Services, with a relevant Level 8 degree and strong experience across HVAC, heating, ventilation, piping and other mechanical systems. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and thermal modelling software, with Engineers Ireland membership and progression towards Chartered status, full driving licence and own car
    Location: Limerick
    Salary: €45,000 – €55,000
    Package: Hybrid working (2 days on the office), private medical insurance, bike-to-work scheme, pension, on-site parking.
    Progression: Opportunity to develop into a leadership role, managing and growing the Building Services Mechanical Design Department
    Reporting into: MEP Director
    • Design and develop mechanical building services packages across commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical and data centre projects
    • Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications and reports
    • Produce and coordinate 2D/3D drawings and layouts using Revit and AutoCAD
    • Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, structural, architectural and site teams
    • Resolve technical and spatial coordination issues across projects
    • Respond to RFIs and review technical submittals, vendor packages and materials
    • Support tender preparation, quantity take-offs and design risk assessments
    • Attend design, coordination and site meetings
    • Carry out site inspections and surveys to ensure installations align with design intent
    • Support pre-commissioning, testing, balancing and client handover
