    Responsibilities

    • Develop and release custom mechanical designs in response to customer‐specific requirements within an Engineer‐to‐Order environment.

    • Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and production drawings using Autodesk Inventor, with secondary support using PTC Creo.

    • Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, regulations, and internal design guidelines.

    • Coordinate with manufacturing engineering, suppliers, and operations to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet delivery commitments.

    • Support quotation, order execution, and change management activities throughout the order lifecycle.

    • Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, and engineering change documentation in ERP and PLM systems.

    • Resolve design and manufacturing issues independently and apply lessons learned to future orders.

    • Balance speed, accuracy, and quality in a high‐mix, customer‐driven environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.

    • Experience designing sheet metal enclosures and assemblies for customer‐specific applications.

    • Working knowledge of laser cutting, punch press, press brake, welding, and powder coating processes.

    • Experience working in formal Engineer‐to‐Order environments supporting sales and order execution.

    • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle PD Cloud or Microsoft Dynamics.

    • Experience with PLM tools such as Autodesk Vault, Windchill, or Agile.
