Mechanical Design Engineer

This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to develop efficient and sustainable mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and coordination of HVAC systems for Healthcare and Commercial buildings.

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join an established MEP firm, specializing in HVAC design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and coordination of HVAC systems for Healthcare and Commercial buildings. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to develop efficient and sustainable mechanical systems.

A successful candidate will have the following background and abilities:

• Revit Modeling/Design
• Knowledgeable of various HVAC Systems Design
• Contract Administration (Shop Drawings, RFI’s, Site Visits/Reports)
• Multitasking between various projects
• Sustainable Design (LEED Accreditation a plus)
• Energy Modeling experience a plus

Minimum Requirements for Consideration:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 2 plus years of HVAC design/engineering experience for commercial projects
• Revit Proficiency

• Healthcare Project Experience
• EIT
• LEED Accreditation
• Energy Modeling experience
