Job Purpose
Entry level chassis design engineer is responsible for designing chassis parts and systems that meet targeted schedule and deliver outstanding performance, quality, reliability, value, and enjoyment to Honda's customers.
Key Accountabilities
o Thinking critically & applying fundamental engineering principles to complex targets.
o Plan & coordinate activities with other design, test, factory, purchasing and suppliers.
o Create own schedules with milestones and trigger points, and share with related groups
o Attend meetings, lead occasionally, and give constructive thoughts along with keeping track of open items.
o Review costs to ensure it meets the design intentions and provide solutions if it does not.
o Model parts and systems in 3D and release 2D drawings and specifications using CATIA & MS office.
