Shape complex systems—one precise model at a time
Picture your day: you open a new project packet, translate specs for tanks, pumps, and piping into clean 3D AutoCAD models, and iterate quickly with engineering and project management to lock in dimensions and fit. By afternoon, you’re refining fabrication drawings, checking every callout, and releasing a drawing set that production can trust.
What you’ll do
- Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for industrial equipment, piping systems, tanks, pumps, and mechanical assemblies.
- Develop schematics, layouts, fabrication drawings, and supporting engineering documentation with accuracy and speed.
- Leverage Autodesk software (AutoCAD and related tools) to drive efficient, manufacturable design solutions.
- Partner with engineering, project management, and production teams to validate form, fit, and function.
- Perform rigorous drawing reviews for quality, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
What you bring
- 3+ years of hands-on AutoCAD experience, including substantial 3D mechanical design work.
- Background designing industrial equipment and process systems (tanks, pumps, piping, and related components).
- Proficiency with Autodesk software preferred; familiarity with SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge, or Fusion 360 is a plus.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical specs and engineering requirements.
- Clear, professional communication—written and verbal—and collaborative working style.
- Self-driven, organized, and effective at juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Work setting & term
- Office-based CAD design role.
- No warehouse, production, installation, or general labor duties.
- Initial assignment is 2–3 months with potential for temp-to-permanent conversion based on performance and business needs.
