Mechanical Assembly Technician, Entry-Level

A day in your new role

You start your shift on the production floor in Tulsa, OK, reviewing visual and written work instructions. With a calibrated torque wrench in hand, you assemble mechanical and hydraulic subcomponents, methodically bringing together parts that will carry our customers’ operations forward. You use hoists and lifts to position heavier pieces safely, confirm alignment and fastener torque, document your work, and keep your station spotless. Before clocking out, you contribute an idea to improve the process—because continuous improvement is everyone’s job here.

What you’ll do

  • Build mechanical and hydraulic subassemblies and final assemblies using hand and power tools, following engineering specifications and detailed instructions.
  • Execute basic testing procedures and verify fit, alignment, and proper torque on completed work.
  • Operate hoists, lifts, and similar devices to safely move and position parts and assemblies.
  • Follow written and visual work instructions with precision.
  • Inspect your work for quality at each step and record results accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety practices.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities and support team goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet production needs.

Grow your skills (we’ll train you)

  • No prior assembly experience required—full training is provided.
  • Learn to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
  • Develop proficiency with common hand tools and power tools.
  • Use basic computer skills to access instructions and enter production data.

Physical and schedule requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Onsite role in Tulsa, OK; no travel required.
  • Overtime as needed, including potential weekends or extended shifts.

Compensation & benefits

Starting pay for this position is $16.50 per hour. This is a full-time, hourly role.
