We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler / Technician in Mars, PA
Job Duties:
-Tear down, disassemble, inspect, and rebuild medium- to large-sized industrial equipment and machinery.
-Perform mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
-Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including hoses, cylinders, valves, fittings, and related components.
-Assemble and install mechanical components, subassemblies, and equipment.
-Identify worn, damaged, or defective parts and replace components as needed.
-Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
-Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment to complete assembly and repair work.
-Align, adjust, and test mechanical components to ensure proper operations with equipment modifications, upgrades, and rebuild projects.
-Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
-Work alongside other technicians and shop personnel to complete equipment rebuilds and repairs.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of Assembly/Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies.
- Must work well with others.
- A strong mechanical ability is required.
- Familiar with welding and machine shop practices a plus.
- Must be able to pass a drug test, physical, and background check.
-Position is on 1st shift, 6am-2:30pm
- Must have a valid Driver"s License.
