Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts, subassemblies, and finished products using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings to ensure accurate builds.
• Inspect and test completed assemblies for proper operation and quality compliance.
• Identify and report defective materials or components to supervisors.
• Maintain production documentation and update work orders as required.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve assembly or design issues.
• Perform rework or adjustments as needed to meet quality and functionality standards.

Person Specification

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions.
• Skilled in using various hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
